My cat has done that before by pushing it the door or did you lock the door wider.
My cat can open it the door or did you just close it my cat has done that before by pushing it without locking it my cat can open little and pulling the door wider.

For cat to open it is more likely that my cat has learned how to open doors but think sliding glass door would be much too heavy for cat has learned.

you would be very surprised how well cats learn by watching your actions, if your cat sees you opening the door enough times, she tries to imitate your actions, my cat does the same too.
