shootersanks asked: Hey everyone,
I live in an apartment and I am getting ready for the winter months. In doing so I am covering all my windows with shrink film. Unfortunately I have a large sliding patio door in my place that has a carpeted floor. I would love to shrink wrap this as well but I am unsure if not being able to stick it to the floor will take away any usefulness I might have gained in the first place. I am just wondering if anyone has any ideas or 1st hand knowledge on how to deal with this. Thanks.

You have to be able to stick it on all four sides, in order to heat it and shrink it.
How about insulated drapes, instead?
