My contractor went wild with the caulking. It has dried clear but globbed. When I tried to paint the door, it looked even worse. I can’t remove the caulking but I need to clean up the mess. Pulling and sanding off the caulking didn’t work. It looks bad.

      use a razor blade to cut and smooth, and a putty knife to scrape. or call contractor and have him come back and fix the problem.

      You can buy a tool (about $4.00 US) at a home improvement place to remove the caulk. It’s hard plastic with a sharp corner edge and makes the job simple. Then reapply new caulk.

      Or, have the guy come out and do the job right………..
