      We were going to do this same thing — but also wanted to have screens so that we could have the doors open on nice days. We then saw some great sliding glass doors with the look of French doors — in that they had “panes” of glass instead of being one large plate of glass. It is a charming look, but gives us the option of still sliding the door open and having a screen.
