Does anyone know of a good patio door locking system?

My two year old keeps opening the door and going outside. I am trying to find a good lock that keeps the door closed but is easy to use.

      a stick wedged in the track of the door

      My dad drilled a hole in the top of the door frame and then attached a slide blot to the door that was spring loaded. So to open the door you had to pull it down and slide the door. if you slide the door closed it lock you out if you didn’t lock it down first.

      The broom handle in the track is a cheap trick, but it works to a point.

      they have push button locks at diy stores. several types. you can install on top of frame so 2 yr old couldnt reach it
