Sirena1124 asked: Are patio chair cushions really mildew-resistant? Or should I buy patio table cover and chair covers for my new patio set to use when I’m not using it?

frank p asked: My patio is covered but the outer rows of the tile get rain and some swimming pool water. These rows of tiles are deteriorating (flaking) and even turning to mud. When dry the surface is about a 1/4 inch down from rest of patio. Not sure if I can repair existing tiles with sealant or if they need to be replaced? If sealant is the answer, what prep do I need to do?

Diane L asked: The patio is 12×15. The wood is rotted and the edges of the slabs are worn. Can the wood be removed and replaced with something else? I want to eventually paint the patio so the repair needs to look better than the old rotted wood.

Cereal Killer asked: I want her to have access to the patio. But I don’t want her to go outside past that, just to be able to hanout outside. I am on the groundfloor with a pretty large patio and a 6ft wooden fence. If there’s anything I can put up, etc and ideas would be great. Thanks.

Dave asked: I have about 6 feet of space between the house and the fence and I want to create a little patio or sitting area out there. There is nothing but dirt right now and there is a good 1 foot difference between the hight of the ground at the house and the height at the fence. What is the best method for flattening the ground, then paving over with stone or brick? And should I leave some slope for drainage purposes? Any other drainage issues to consider?
